A new Arkansas law, ACT 595 of 2013, requires all voters to present photo identification when voting. The law lists several acceptable forms of photo ID and explains how to obtain a voter ID card if you do not have any photo.
WHAT IS ACCEPTABLE ID
•Photo identification card
•Concealed handgun carry license
•State or federal government employee identification
•U.S. military identification
•Student ID card from an Arkansas institute
•Public assistance ID card
WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE ANY FORM OF ID?
Qualified electors who do not have any photo ID can obtain a free Voter ID card issued by their county clerk’s office.

The University of Arkansas at Monticello’s Department of Community Education is introducing a new summer enrichment program July 7-10 for students entering grades one through six in the 2014 fall semester.
The program, called Kids University, will feature morning sessions from 9 a.m. to 12 noon for students entering grades one through three and afternoon sessions from 1-5 p.m. for students entering grades four through six.
The May meeting of the Desha/Drew Cattlemen’s Association was called to order on May 8, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at Hopper Farms in Monticello, Arkansas by Vice-President Nita Carpenter.
This is one event of the national fundraiser held during March and April benefiting the meals program at the Monticello Senior Citizens Center.
