UAM Announces Hall of Fame class of 2021

The UAM Sports Hall of Fame will welcome four new individual members in an induction ceremony October 14. UAM will add baseball star Corey Wood, football standouts Jerry Bingham and Art Kaufman, and softball sensation Julie Bowen. According to the Arkansas State Police, at 1:28, Sunday afternoon, a Hamburg area 9th grader lost his life in a 4-wheeler crash on Highway 189, near County Rd. 495.
The youth was westbound on Highway 189, when it appears his ATV began overturning, end over end. The youth was thrown from the vehicle and landed in the westbound lane of traffic.
Our sympathies and prayers go out to his family and friends.

An Arkansas State Trooper is slowing traffic, but you were urged to use caution in the area.
