Today’s post-Christian world is out to undermine the authority of God’s Word. In fact, our society has become anti-Christian, and the biblical account of Creation is under attack by Bible skeptics as never before. Much is at stake, for the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross is based on the foundational book of Genesis.
Generations of people have been brought up to view the Bible as merely a book; a book containing many interesting stories and moral teachings, but in the end, just a book. This lack of understanding and appreciation for God’s Word explains why people, especially young people, have so many questions about how the Bible relates to issues they face in their lives. These issues include evolution, the age of the earth, abortion, the origin of life, fossils, sexuality, death, racism, marriage, suffering, salvation, dinosaurs, and many other important topics. The Monticello High School play this year is The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) by Adam Long, Daniel Singer, and Jess Winfield.
The play March 13-15 at the MMS auditorium at 7pm each night.
My name is Tack. I lived out in the country until a couple of years ago, when my family move into town.
I used to be a “front yard dog,” but now I’m a “back yard dog,” and that’s why I don’t see my family as much as I used to. They still love me, but want me to be happy. I’m a yellow lab and VERY friendly.
Call Paw at 820-0077, and come meet me. I’m an outside dog, and just want to live in the country again. I miss my friends, the squirrels.
