Summer Reading Program Visits The Planets

Tuesday, June 25th, 2019

thumbnailThis week children who participated in our Summer Reading Program got to visit the planets! At each station the kids got to help with an experiment, make a scientific observation, play a game, or watch a demonstration that was themed on the unique features of the planets in our solar system.

For example, on Venus they got to make a volcano explode, on Mars they were able to help code a route for a miniature Lego Mars Rover, and on Pluto they got to feel how cold it is there by making ice cream. I have attached a few pictures of the event.
