Each year Drew Central Elementary and the Middle School students help SEARK Reading Council collect money for the Heifer Project. Heifer International is an Arkansas foundation that provides animals for families in other countries.
They train the families to use the animals for the benefit of their families and communities. Each animal that is purchased helps the families have food and income to help provide for their needs. This year Drew Central students collected $2,278.27. Thank you for your generous support!
Many pharmacies require COVID-19 vaccine appointments be made online, and slots fill up quickly. This can be a problem for the elderly and for people who lack a computer or Internet access.
