Gaines and McCloy, as well as a short section of Hyatt Streets, have been under construction this week as part of the Arkansas Dept. of Highways & Transportation’s overlay of HWY 278.
The removal of the current pavement is being done by Johnsville, L.L.C., and is being done usually from 6 p.m. until around 6 a.m., to avoid interfering with the roadway’s heavy traffic flow.
The paving process will likely begin Thursday morning, by Courson Paving.
