Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Bust by Trooper

September 16th, 2008 by

Thursday night, as State Trooper Donny Crow was performing a traffic stop on HWY 278 West, he arrested Jason Simmons, age 26, for driving on a suspended license, and also for a warrant out of the Monticello Police Dept.

As the trooper was arresting Simmons, he found a white “rock” substance in Simmons’ pocket, which added possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, to the charges.
