Mrs. Gulledge has served 16 years as County Clerk, after working as a deputy clerk, in 2004.
She also told the Quorum Court JPs, Monday night, that two of her deputy clerks, who have been considering retirement, will also be leaving, at the end of the year.
Several of the JP ‘s, the County Judge, as well as the county attorney, expressed their appreciation to Mrs. Gullege, for her years of service.

University of Arkansas at Monticello Chancellor Dr. Peggy Doss announced today that Crystal Halley has been named the UAM Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. Halley graduated from UAM Summa Cum Laude in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in political science. She earned a Juris Doctorate from the William H. Bowen School of Law at UALR in 2007.
We would like to thank and congratulate the team at Interfor Monticello division for reaching the milestone of 1000 days lost time injury free. This is unheard of in the lumber industry and it speaks to the commitment, hard work, and dedication that each individual has shown.
