Kelsey is the 17 year old daughter of Teresa & Scott Duckworth & Darrell Windham. She is a senior at Monticello High School.

Log Truck Spill on HWY 278

At 12:20, Monday afternoon, this loaded log truck was traveling toward Monticello, when its trailer’s fifth wheel pin plate pulled off, allowing the trailer to overturn, rolling it over onto the side of the roadway.

No one was injured.

Drew County Sheriff’s Deputies directed traffic through the 277/278 curve until 3 pm, when the wreck was clered.

Monticello FCCLA Present “Stranger Danger” To MES

DSCF3025 Monticello FCCLA members, Hannah Kling and Kimberly Long, presented “Stranger Danger” to five different classes at Monticello Elementary school on October 30, 2013. They taught the children safety tips for trick-or-treating, created an ID card complete with finger prints, read a book, and presented them with goody bags filled with candy and information for their parents.
