Monticello Occupational Education Center (OEC) students traveled to Hot Springs April 14 – 16 to participate in the Arkansas SkillsUSA competition. SkillsUSA is a national organization for students preparing for technical, skilled and service occupations in high schools and colleges/technical schools. The event is held annually and is hosted by Arkansas industries and the Arkansas SkillsUSA Organization.

Shady Grove Baptist Church’s disaster relief team has made contact with a Vilonia area church, who can point the volunteers to local needs there.
Pauline Baptist Church plans to send Disaster Relief Teams to the tornado damaged areas, starting Wednesday.
