Tornado sirens are currently being installed in the Monticello area, including the show areas near the library, hospital, and Old Troy Road water tower.
A total of 18 sirens will be installed, most on their own self-standing towers.
In response to many resident’s questions, The sirens will be tested weekly (silently), and audibly tested monthly or quarterly.
Missing: Daisy, was last seen on Highway 35 West.

Around 8:30, Monday evening, a local business owner reported receiving a phone call from an in-state phone number claiming that the business owed a past due electric bill.

Caroline Adair was crowned 2014 Miss Buck Fever at this Saturday during the annual Buck Fever Festival in Banks.
Caroline is the 16 year old daughter of Dale & Misty Jones and William Adair of Monticello.
