Wrecked Wrecker

Shortly after 10 PM, Wednesday night, the driver of this rollback-wrecker lost control of his vehicle, in the east turn of Highway 278 in Wilmar.
According to reports, the driver of the vehicle, owned by Cathey Towing of Warren, was on his way to a roadside assistance call, when the wreck occurred.
The eastbound tow truck left the roadway, entered a ditch, and struck the concrete embankment of a driveway, before coming to a stop.
The impact with the concrete structure calls to severe impact to the rollback, including losing its front axle and wheels.
The Fire & Rescue team were paged out to the scene. SEEMS transported the driver to Bradley County Medical Center for treatment.
The Drew County Sheriffs Department worked the crash site.
