On October 29, 2012, Elizabeth Ann Davis, age 66 of Warren, was waiting for a train to pass, at the Wilmar train crossing, when suddenly her life came to an end, as a loaded asphalt truck barreling down the highway behind her crashed into her mini-van, killing her instantly.

The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) today announced that Mainline Health System Inc. of Star City, AR has received NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Recognition for using evidence-based, patient-centered processes that focus on highly coordinated care and long?term, participative relationships.
The NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home is a model of primary care that combines teamwork and information technology to improve care, improve patients’ experience of care and reduce costs. Medical homes foster ongoing partnerships between patients and their personal clinicians, instead of approaching care as the sum of episodic office visits. Each patient’s care is overseen by clinician-led care teams that coordinate treatment across the health care system. These new engines were seen crossing HWY 425, Tuesday, after the washed-out sections of track between Collins and Dermott, due to recent flooding, had been repaired.
The engines belong to a sister company of Arkansas Midland; Dallas, Garland, & Northeastern, based out of Texas. Both are subsidiaries of Genesee Wyoming Railroad.

Easter, which celebrates Jesus Christ’s life, death and resurrection, is one of the two most important holidays in Christianity today. It has been called a move able feast because it doesn’t fall on a set date every year, as most holidays do. Instead, Christian churches in the West celebrate Easter on the first Sunday following the full moon after the vernal equinox on March 21.
“Western Pines Dip” Meadowview Dr. Open to Traffic

The section of Meadowview Drive, commonly known as “Western Pines Dip” is now open for traffic, and is no longer a small spillway.
