The administrative office is located in Monticello, AR. The Agency consists of preschool centers in Monticello, Crossett and Star City, an adult skills center and Home and Community Based Waiver services in Monticello.

LV Man Arrested for Monticello Gun Thefts

Monticello Police have confirmed the arrest of a Lake Village man, with family ties to Monticello, on the charges of breaking or entering vehicles, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, theft of property over $1000, possession of meth or cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Combine, Car, & House Fires Reported

Monday morning, around 5:30 AM, the Collins-Cominto fire department responded to a combine fire, near Baxter. The combine was destroyed.

Tuesday, the Tillar fire department was dispatched to a car fire, on HWY 277 near the intersection of HWY 278. Drew County sheriffs deputies also responded.

Thursday morning, around 7:30 AM, the Monticello fire department responded to a house fire in the 200 block of E. Shelton St. The damage was reportedly contain to the back area of the house. No one was injured in the fire.

Once again, our appreciation goes out to our firefighters, across the county, for their dedication to protecting Drew County citizens, and our property.

Car Crashes into Home – Edited

Shortly after 6 PM, Wednesday evening, the driver of this Chevy Impala lost control of his vehicle, crashed into a residence, and was arrested for DWI, drug possession, and careless driving.

Hunter Shot, Airlifted from Deer Camp

Accidental shooting According to Sheriff Mark Gober, Saturday, October 15, the Drew County Sheriffs Office, along with the two local ambulance services were dispatched to a deer camp located on Rash Crossing in reference to a man being shot.
