Judge Robert Akin announced that Drew County has been declared as a disaster area, due to the recent tornadoes and related damage.
Akin also announced that the Drew County fairgrounds will have a tree and limb collection site, between the animal barn and rodeo arena.
The area will be open to public dumping of foliage (only) from 7 AM – 5:30 PM Monday through Saturday.
No construction or building materials or scrap will be allowed.
