UAM Students Hold SAB / SGA Elections

UAMSGA University of Arkansas at Monticello students recently elected their 2020-2021 Student Activities Board (SAB) and Student Government Association (SGA) representatives through an online voting system. SAB members Courtney Hicks, Caleb Stewart, Chase Marra and Emily Hand have started holding board meetings to plan activities that safely engage and excite students in what is an extremely unusual program year for the board. CitizensBank For the second time in the past two years, Citizens Bank has been named as one of the “Best Places to Work in Arkansas,” according to a survey sponsored by the Arkansas Business newspaper.

Bentley’s Water Balloons – 4-H Video

Drew County 4-H has started a teen leader club for ages 13 through 19. This club teaches leadership, communication, and public speaking skills which will last a lifetime. Students will have the opportunity to take part in events and competitions on the local, state, and national levels which allow them to meet other youth and make lasting friendships. Our club is currently doing a series of videos displaying science projects, art ideas, and various life hacks staring members of the club. This week’s video features club President Bentley S. Bentley is 14 and also a member of Horse Club and a member of Drew County WHEP Team. He will be demonstrating an easy way portable way to fill a water balloon.
