Around 7 PM Monday night, 3 people were injured in a 2 vehicle head-on accident, on Highway 35 East.
Around 3:45 Monday afternoon, a log truck’s load shifted forward, as he applied his brakes while westbound on HWY 278 near the 425 intersection.
The logs shifted forward impacting the cab preventing it from being able to turn .
A loaded eastbound chip-truck reportedly entered Dead Man’s Curve too fast, New Year’s Eve morning at 4:30, overturning in the north ditch.
According to SalineRiverChronicle.com, there was a fatal auto crash in Warren, Wednesday evening.
Authorities were called to the scene of a two-vehicle accident, at approximately 6:30 p.m. Christmas night on North Martin Street, near Bryant Street. A 42 year old Warren man was traveling south in a pickup truck on Martin Street.

At 1:45, Thursday, the Monticello Fire & Rescue Team was paged out to the report of a Ford pick-up that missed the HWY 278 curve at the east entrance to Wilmar, and crashed into a nearby wooded area.
Drew County Sheriff’s Deputies worked the accident, where a 31 year old Bryant resident was transported to JRMC by SEEMS. Dan’s Towing removed the vehicle.
Minutes before 1 pm, Monday, a local man, walking his bicycle across McCloy Street at the 3-way stop sign at the Town Square was hit by a car.
Saturday at LaceySaturday, around noon, the driver of this Chevy van was reported to be traveling north on HWY 425, attempting to turn west, when she collided with the passenger side of a Chrysler 300, which was passing her.
Drew County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the wreck, along with a local Constable. The State Police filed the accident report.
One passenger from the Chrysler was reportedly transferred to a Little Rock Hospital.
Wednesday on HWY 35 EastWednesday, at approximately 8 am, the driver of this Chevy pick-up lost control, near Sixteen Section Road on HWY 35 East of Monticello.
Wednesday on HWY 278 EastThis Honda Accord received only minor damage, Wednesday around 5 pm, when it’s driver lost control on the wet pavement in Dead Man’s Curve.
Drew County Sheriff’s Deputies worked both of these Wednesday accidents.
At 12:20, Monday afternoon, this loaded log truck was traveling toward Monticello, when its trailer’s fifth wheel pin plate pulled off, allowing the trailer to overturn, rolling it over onto the side of the roadway.
No one was injured.
Drew County Sheriff’s Deputies directed traffic through the 277/278 curve until 3 pm, when the wreck was clered.
Sunday night, around midnight, the driver of this Honda S-2000 was norrhbound on I-530, when he told deputies that another vehicle had caused him to run off of the roadway.
The Honda traveled down the road ditch, coming to a stop in a creekbed, next to a bridge.
Dan’s towed the vehicle; the driver trportedly only recieved minor injuries.
A big rig wreck on Oct. 2, 2006 in Calhoun County led to the trial, which is expected to last 3-4 days.
While driving a loaded log truck on Calhoun County Road #2,, Gene Gibson (a Drew County resident) had the loaded log truck he was driving, run off of the pavement and rolled onto its right side.
A log shifted, and enter the cab, apparently injuring Gibson.
Around 11 am, Friday morning, the new driver of this AT&T truck lost control of the vehicle, causing it to leave the roadway in Dead Man’s Curve, 2 miles east of Monticello on HWY 278 East.
Neither the driver, nor his trainer, was injured.
Drew County Sheriff’s deputies worked the crash scene. Reliable Towing was called to remove the vehicle.
Thursday’s wreck in the same curve wasn’t as easy to remove.
Around 3 pm, Wednesday, the driver of this Pontiac G4 was westbound on HWY 35, east of Monticello, when she lost control and left the roadway.
Around 7 pm, Tuesday, an eastbound white Chevy Silverado reportedly pulled out in front of a northbound white Chevy Silverado, causing an auto accident.
The eastbound truck had the stop sign.
A passenger in the northbound Silverado was transported to Drew Memorial by SEEMS.
The driver in the eastbound Silverado was transported to the County Detention Facility for a BAC test, as aluminum cans were seen strewn alongside the vehicle at the crash scene.
MPD worked the wreck. Reliable Towing removed the northbound vehicle.
Sunday evening around 8:30, a Yamaha Rhino 450 overturned on Carpenter Road, ejecting the driver.
The vehicle was northbound at the time of the accident. The driver was transported to Drew Memorial, and was expected by be transferred to Little Rock.
Arkansas State Troopers worked the crash scene, assisted by Drew County Sheriff’s Deputies.
