Former UAM chancellor Jack Lassiter was the only person at last nights called City Council meeting to express interest in completing the term of Jonathan Schell, who recently resigned as alderman to accept a new work position in Oklahoma.
The appointment is scheduled to be made at the July 23 City Council meeting.
