Several people have seen on Facebook that there has been a boil order issued for Monticello.
That is true, but it was issued for Monticello Louisiana, not Monticello Arkansas.
Referred to MyArklaMiss.com to see the original post.

The City is currently experiencing issues with both of the dumpster garbage trucks.
We are working on getting both of the trucks fixed but we are unsure if the problem will be resolved, later today.
We appreciate your patience during this process while we manually use trucks, trailers and man power to empty dumpsters.
If you have any questions, please call City Hall. 870-367-4400.

At Monday night’s city parks commission meeting, the board approved using a $10,000 CD designated for lake trail improvements to be spent on a detailed drawing and improvement map for future plans at Lake Monticello.
Several residents were present supporting the decision. The trail will be able to be used for walking, fishing, hiking, biking, and even a triathlon, in the future.
