ARDOT is closing a portion of Highway 1 due to a state bridge located between Watson and Kelso effective immediately.
A route is being marked as a detour on highway 138 from Hwy 1 to Hwy 4.
The period of time for closure is unknown at this time but an estimated repair period will be announced soon.
