Haley Hill Wins 2017 Miss Southeast District Fair Queen – UPDATE

Haley Hill was selected as runner up in the Miss Drew County Pageant , at the county fair. This allowed her to compete in the Southeast District Fair pageant.

In the District Fair Pageant, Haley won in the Overall Evening Gown, Overall Swimsuit Wear, Overall Interview, $1,000 Scholarship Award, and was honored as the 2017 Miss Southeast District Fair Queen.

Both Haley, as Southeast Fair Queen, and Madison Brown, as Drew County pageant winner, will compete for the title of Miss Arkansas.

Special Judge Hears Motions in Mays vs. City Lawsuit Over 2015 MEDC Contract Decision – Case Continues on Track to Trial

Motions in the Circuit Court case of PF Mays & Associates vs. City of Monticello, were recently heard by Special Judge David Laser. The case stems from the city council’s 2015 decision to contract with MEDC instead of Mays & Associates for economic development for the City.

As of 5:42AM Windstream completed Fiber repairs and CCC customers now have full bandwidth and all channels are fully operational.
