MDA’s Competition dance team attended the Starpower regional competition in Little Rock this weekend (March 1-3). Routines are scored on an adjudicated system by a panel of 3 judges. The placement levels are 5 Star Elite (for the Advanced division only), 5 Stars, 4.75 Stars, 4.5 Stars, 4.25 Stars, and 4 Stars. After scores are given they are then given a placement in their category, as well as an overall in each age and division.
