MHS Choir Wins STATE Sweepstakes – “Best in Class 4A”

MHS Choir received Superior 1st Division rating at the STATE Choral Performance Assessment (CPA) on April 11. Division I ratings in both their performance and sight reading at the Region 3 and State CPA has earned MHS Choir the 2023 STATE Sweepstakes Award.

The choir was also awarded top honors at STATE CPA for “Best in Class 4A Mixed Choir”

“I am extremely proud of our amazing, talented and arduous students”, says Mrs. Vincent.

The following seniors have been offered a choir scholarship to perform with UAM. Ainsley Barnett, Heavenly Bodiford, Hayden Carter, Kierra Evans, and Alaiynah Lamb.

Monticello Middle and High School Spring concert will be held on May 9 @ 6.30 p.m. in the MMS auditorium. We thank you for your support and encouragement this year!

UAM To Offer $500 Scholarship for Pre-registration, April 17/18

University of Arkansas at Monticello fall 2023 new first-time freshmen and new transfer students will receive a $500 scholarship if they pre-register for fall 2023 classes on April 17 or April 18 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and attend UAM during the fall 2023 semester. Terms and conditions may apply.

In-person registration is recommended, but over-the-phone registration is also available.

Students must RSVP to reserve a time to pre-register for classes in order to be eligible for the scholarship. RSVP on the UAM Admissions webpage or here.

No program will take place during pre-registration. Students will be able to pre-register for classes and have the option to visit any office related to attending school in the fall. Parents and legal guardians are welcome.
