The Saturday night Vigil program includes prayer, remembrances by family and close friends of Lorryce Watkins, and remarks, as well as a candle-lighting ceremony remembering Lorryce and other Arkansans that have lost their lives to violence. Participants are asked to gather at the Gazebo from 4:45 p.m. until 5 p.m. when the program begins.

Well, it’s that time of year again. Time change.
Tonight, most parts of the country will turn their clocks BACK. So if it’s 2 a.m., it becomes 1 a.m. again.
Now that’s a deal, an extra hour of sleep.
By the way, using the excuse of, “I forgot to set my clock” won’t justify missing Church in the morning. It would only explain why someone was there an hour TOO EARLY.
So, see you in Church.

The MIS East students are working together in collaboration with students from the OEC to build bluebird houses for their Learning Garden.
The students researched the design for the birdhouses. They found out how much wood they needed and what size each part should be. The wood was donated by Mr. Al Beaty.
The birdhouses will be placed in the Learning Garden when they are finished. Our goal is to make the Learning Garden a better environment.
