The car, The 2001 Acura, was reported to be stolen by particular person, who the complainant named.
Around 7:15,, Tuesday morning, Drew County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched, along with SEEMS and MASI ambulances, to the report of a wreck involving a Cadillac sedan and a Ford Expedition, at the intersection of HWY 278 and I-530, west of Monticello.

Around 3 am Wednesday morning, Drew County Sheriff’s Deputies received a call reporting a forklift stolen from Bio-wood pellet mill, on Wilson Mill Road, south of Monticello.
A Monticello couple have been released on $50,000 bond each, following an ongoing $40,000 scam of former Municipal Judge and City Councilman Clifton Bond.

A Monticello parks committee member, who twice has attempted a run for City Council, recently posted on FaceBook the possiblilty of seeking the office of Monticello Mayor.
Drew County Deputies and Monticello Fire Dept. firefighters were called to this rubbish fire, Monday afternoon, when the helpful workers forgot about the burn ban, and the fire got larger than expected.
The burn ban that is in effect for Drew County HAS NOT been cancelled, due to Friday night’s rain.
Please do not burn any items, until it is cancelled by the county judge and Forestry Commission.
