A 21-year-old man was arrested, Monday afternoon, shortly after 4:15, for crashing the Cadillac SUV he was driving into the DHS office on HWY 425 North.
The most impressive factor that took place during the weekends activities was the massive police presence in Drew county, by ALL law enforcement agencies in the area.
Saturday night’s Ku Klux Klan rally, held northeast of Monticello, drew a small crowd of supporters, 1 protester, a 6-8 peace & love” signs on the town square.

The UAMonticello community is saddened by news it received, earlier today of the unexpected death of a UAM student, who was visiting a resident on campus last night.
MLive held a brief interview with the leader of the organization holding a rally in Drew County, tonight.
Here is the content of that interview.
As whatever is going to happen, Saturday draws near, local residents are agreeing that it doesn’t belong in Drew County, and not taking sides about who is right.
In an earlier “summary” of a potential out-of-town group meeting, MLive did not use their accepted name or initials. Again, this report will not do so, in order to “Google proof” the article.
Because of the revised Arkansas Duneral Directors Association board decision, DCBA’s officers have technically been reinstated, although the association has been dissolved.
According to KATV’s “7 on Your Side”, it appears that members of the Drew County Burial Associaiton will be able to disolve their association, and receive checks for the value of their accounts.
A 42 year old Monticello woman was arrested by Monticello Police, Tuesday night, after they responded to Jenkins Quick Check on HWY 278 East, to the report of a hit & run driver knocking a gas-pump onto another car.
Multiple arrest have been made in connection with the Brandon Cox escape incident.
