During school traffic, the southbound railroad signals on Highway 425, near the Highway 278 intersection were warning of trains crossing, even though no trains were in the area.
MPD helped direct traffic, until this situation resolved itself.
Arkansas Midland Railroad crews were on their way, to repair any issues that may have affected the situation.

Starting at 7 PM, Saturday, up to 2 inches of snow accumulated on the hoods of vehicles and up to an inch on the top of homes.
However, none accumulated on roadways, because of ground heat. Any accumulation melted quickly, Sunday afternoon, with temperatures reaching around 50°.
