Although we had snow and ice, yesterday morning , with a very small dusting, late, roads are mostly clear, Friday morning.

This vehicle was traveling east towards McGehee, when it lost control on a patch of ice, and went into the southbound ditch of Highway 278.
No one was injured; Drew County Sheriffs Deputies responded,.
Please drive safely, this is the first of what will likely be dozens of ditched vehicles (and wrecker bills), today!

This crew of power maintenance/repair workers was seen at Rays, Wednesday morning.
Although they work in this area from time to time, on maintenance and improvements, they also take part in storm related outages, restoring power across a multistate region.
Based out of Canton, Mississippi, they are planning to be in Searcy Arkansas, later today, for the winter weather damage that is expected in the northern part of the state.
