At approximately 01:40, this morning, A structure fire destroyed a local home, on Selma-Collins Road. Departments that responded were Collins-Cominto FD, Selma FD, Winchester-Tillar FD, Dermott FD, Drew County Sheriff Deputies & OEM.

Lake Monticello Fire Update – Lake Access Now Closed

After the fire, Sunday afternoon, caused by an SUV driving around the lakebed’s tall grass, on the burned vehicle has been removed, and lake access has now been closed, until further notice.
