500 Ton/Day Waste to Energy Gasification Facility Coming to SEARK

Thursday, the SouthEast Arkansas Economic Development District heard and approved a presentation to establish a “waste to electricity” recycling facility in southeast Arkansas, specifically at the Chicot County landfill site, near Lake Village.

The facility can process 500 tons per day of everyday household trash, which will use a rotary kiln to create steam, which makes electricity. Recyclable metals, as shown in the article, passed through the system, and our recycled through appropriate channels. The leftover material from the process has several construction usages. Immanuel Baptist Church Online Dessert Auction, Today, Starting At 10am

dessertauction Immanuel Baptist Church Monticello will be holding an online dessert auction starting Friday April 15th on their Facebook page.

Dessert items will be available at 10am with an item description, pictures, and starting bid. You will place your bid in the comment section under the picture. The highest bidder at 4 pm will be the winner. Desserts can be picked up anytime after they are won, but before 6pm.

All proceeds will go to help our Children attend summer church camp.
