On June 6th, at approximately 7:30 A.M., agents of the Drew County Sheriff’s Department, Arkansas State Police, FBI, and the Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on a residence in Collins, AR. At the residence, the home owner, Terrell K. Hackney JR, age 52 of Collins, and Amanda S Hoover, age 40 of Drew County, were placed under arrest. The University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM) is set to offer the state of Arkansas’s only online Master of Science in nursing (MSN) degree with an emphasis in public health after the Institutional Actions Council of the Higher Learning Commission recently approved the proposed program. 







Ashley Marshall of Monticello, a nursing major at South Arkansas Community College, has accepted a Melba Tatom Nursing Endowed Scholarship to attend the school this fall.
