Drew Central fourth graders started the investigation by thinking about these questions “Who was Anne Frank?” and “How do we find out?” While reading excerpts from her diary and reading Ann Abramson’s book “Who Was Anne Frank?” students responded in their diaries to various prompts. Working in teams, students created a timeline of Anne’s life and a timeline of the world 1918-1960 by analyzing what was important from the text.
