Drew Central Fourth Graders Play Detective to Reveal “Who Was Anne Frank?”

Drew Central fourth graders started the investigation by thinking about these questions “Who was Anne Frank?” and “How do we find out?” While reading excerpts from her diary and reading Ann Abramson’s book “Who Was Anne Frank?” students responded in their diaries to various prompts. Working in teams, students created a timeline of Anne’s life and a timeline of the world 1918-1960 by analyzing what was important from the text. Read the rest of this entry »

We are engaged in an epic battle for the hearts and minds of our youth. Every day, they’re bombarded with lies about who they are, who their Creator is, and where their salvation comes from. Thankfully, God has given his children armor to wear in this battle between truth and lies, light and darkness, good and evil.

With this VBS, your kids will learn how they can be part of God’s kingdom through salvation in his Son and will be equipped with the armor of God to become Keepers of the Kingdom and stand strong in today’s battle for truth.

The Monticello Police Department is urging drivers to buckle up during the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) national Click It or Ticket high-visibility enforcement effort. Long-Time UAM Professor Returns to the Classroom, Funds Scholarship

The 2022-2023 academic year saw a familiar face return to the classroom full-time at the University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM). Dr. Morris Bramlett, professor of chemistry at UAM, stepped down from his position as dean of the School of Mathematical and Natural Sciences in July 2022 after serving in the role since 2007 so that he could return to his love of teaching. Nora R., Joslyn R., Peyton L., and Maci L. had the opportunity to show at the Arkansas Goat Producers Association Spring Quad Show held at the State Fairgrounds in Little Rock. This was a 4-ring show where Joslyn R. received 1 grand and 1 reserve in Jr. Appine, 2 grand and 1 reserve in R Jr. Toggenburg and in Sr. Toggenburg 1 reserve. Nora R. received 2 grand and 2 reserves in Jr. Toggenburg, and 1 grand and 1 reserve in Jr. Saneen. Maci L. had 1 reserve and 3rd in Sr. Alpine, 5th in Jr. Alpine. Peyton showed Nigerian Dwarf 4-year-old does and aged does. He won Pee Wee Showmanship.
