Gregory “Greg” Berryman was nominated and accepted into the 2024 Dream All-American Bowl. Commercial Bank is proud to announce the addition of Bryan McDuffie as Chief Lending Officer. Bryan was born and raised in Greenville, MS, graduating from St. Joseph Catholic School.
Bryan has significant ties to Southeast Arkansas including being a third-generation graduate of UAM.
Bryan lived in Monticello from 2010 to 2015 when he managed the local office of Delta Farm Credit. Since that time, Bryan has worked as an executive for First Financial Bank where he has managed agricultural lending in southern Arkansas and the state of Louisiana.
Bryan is eager to return home to Monticello with his wife, the former Brady Barnes of Hamburg, and his two children, Sadie and Barrett, who will enroll in the Monticello School District.
Bryan is an enthusiastic leader, a dedicated community banker, and looks forward to serving Drew County.
According to the Monticello Chief of Police, Carlos Garcia, the victim of the homicide that occurred on January 1,2024, was Darren L. Myles, 26, of Monticello. Read the rest of this entry »
At approximately 1:50 PM, Tuesday afternoon, Monticello dispatch received reports of a tree falling on a car on N. Borchardt St.
No injuries were reported.
At approximately 1:45 PM, Tuesday, reports included multiple powerlines in different parts of town being down, causing outages.
