The driver of an eastbound loaded lumber truck lost control of his vehicle, on Highway 35 E., approximately 2 miles west of Skipper Bridge Road in Drew County, at 1:30 PM, Wednesday.
DCSO, OEM and Big Wrecker responded.
No injuries were reported.
At 2 PM, Wednesday afternoon, an unnamed man, who had been walking on Glenwood Drive, reached Highway 425, where he was struck by a northbound box truck type vehicle.
Monticello police immediately responded, along with SEEMS, and the man was transported to JRMC by ambulance.
No other information is available.
Lory Martha Ivezic, age 59 of Monticello, lost her life in a single vehicle crash on Saturday evening, at 7:15 PM.
Her Ford Focus left the Brown Creek Bridge, on Lacey New Hope Road, overturning, and landed on the north side of creek, on the east embankment.
