Drew Central Junior High Quiz Bowl Team Wins 2nd Play In Tournament

Drew Central’s Junior High Quiz Bowl team competed in a small but intense tournament with only four teams, meaning we played three games. We kicked off the day with a hard-fought match against Rison, which came down to the wire. After a few challenges, Drew Central narrowly lost by just 5 points, 210-215. In our second match, we bounced back with a strong 230-185 win over Central Christian Academy. We wrapped up the tournament with a 195-130 victory over Smackover.

With Drew Central, Rison, and CAC all tying for first place, final rankings came down to total points. CAC claimed first place, and Drew Central secured second.

Our players showed tremendous respect and represented DC exceptionally well. A special shoutout to AJ and Madison for earning All-Star medals based on their outstanding performance in answering questions throughout the tournament! If you see them, be sure to congratulate them on their achievement. We are so proud of our team and their hard work!
