the County road Dept is in need of major repair unlike the library. the road dept floods every time it rains. the building is out dated for the equipment that the county has. there are several pieces of equipment that can no be brought into the shop due to there size and the fact that the building is to small. when they are in need of repair the work has to be done outside. in the summer you have to work in the direct sun light with the temp around 105 to 110 deg laying in the dirt. in the winter you have to lay on the ground with the temp around 45 to freezing. this is unsafe for the workers. the back of the building is rotted and falling down. the lift area for working on equipment stays flooded and the floor is a muck of mud, the wiring is old as the building and several items no longer work cause the overload the electrical system. yes the court house needs upgrades too. but the stay high and dry in the winter and summer and do not have to work in ankle deep water to do there jobs. its time to bring the Road dept building into the 21 century for the safety and welfare of its workers.
Didn’t we just pay for a brand new library? How did we get $1.1 million in a tax overpayment and no one notice?
are they asking for their $110,000.. I’ll be needing my $110,000 ASAP
