I don’t know who “spun” this story but let me give you the rest of the story. This is my nephew and he is a combat veteran. He served in the Army and was deployed to Afghanistan. Apparently for quite a few years now he has been battling his demons by himself and was finally no longer able to control them. Sadly this is the story for a multitude of our young men and women returning to civilian life. I donate every month to Wounded Warrior Project and ,as a veteran myself, it is a damn shame that fund raising should have to be done to give them the help they need. Shame on the government that can’t support those who sacrificed for them.
