Boil Order Issued for Fountain Hill

Fountain Hill water leak was found just north of Dollar General, around 4:30, Tuesday.

After water service was restored to Fountain Hill, Tuesday evening, a boil order was issued for the safety of residents.

The City of Fountain Hill wants to thank Hamburg and their water system for their help, during the outage.

According to Fountain Hill City Hall, the city’s water service is out of commission, The town‘s water tank has been drained, due to a major leak, that three crews are currently searching for, this morning.

Around 5:30, yesterday evening, troubles were noticed, which have led to the tank’s contents being drained, and the system being connected to the Hamburg Water supply, which should be online to supply Fountain Hill, later this morning.
