EF0-EF1 Tornado, per NWS — Why Was No “Warning” Given?

National Weather Service staff was in Drew County, Monday, investigating storm damage from early Sunday morning.
They confirmed that the homes and vehicles in the New Light/Midway Rt. community southeast of Monticello were destroyed by a tornado.
They describe the tornadoes as “EF1 at treetop level, and EF0 at ground level.”
Due to the “gaps” in radar coverage from the National Weather Service posts, we have not been able to confirm that anyone had issued a tornado warning for that storm system in Drew County. County Judge Robert Akin and OEM director Michael Frisby are working to find a way to bridge this gap , in an effort to provide effective notification for Drew County residents.

This is my thoughts….
At 4:30 in the morning, the possibility of watching TV or hearing sirens are minimal. Also, the twister may have not formed until that exact time resulting in no warning being possible. There will always be gaps.
Even though there is technology, predictions, weathermen, radars, etc we cannot always predict God’s creation of weather. No person can control the weather nor have a 100% foolproof method of predicting or controlling it.
