It is good to see the Mayor stand up and stand behind the City employees. Also, it’s good to see which Council Members appreciate and support the City employees. The ones who voted no, are long over due being replaced!
Yes it would have been good to see the Mayor stand behind the city employees, but these increases didn’t include ALL the city employees. The employees that work repair the streets, waterlines and other breaking sweat jobs didn’t get a 35% pay increase. Where are the raises for them???
