As the University of Arkansas at Monticello baseball and softball teams begin their 2021 home seasons, the Department of Athletics has announced the following guidelines that will be in place for all home UAM baseball and softball games.

In addition to procedures required as a member institution of the Great American Conference, these guidelines have been put in place in accordance to Arkansas Department of Health, CDC and University guidelines and serve to provide the safest environment for our student-athletes, coaches, staff and fans. The University of Arkansas at Monticello football team announced its spring practice schedule Wednesday. The Weevils will be back on the practice field as a full team for the first time since sports came to a halt in March last year. (more…)

Due to inclement weather, the University of Arkansas at Monticello’s Green and White Football Scrimmage originally scheduled for Wednesday has been rescheduled for Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., the UAM Athletic Department announced Monday.

The Rodeo Team at the University of Arkansas at Monticello is a member of the Ozark Region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA). With Covid-19 precautions in place, the Ozark Region’s season began this weekend in Marshall, Missouri, at the Missouri Valley College Viking Stampede, where 15 teams competed. (more…)

After the Weevils big win against rival SAU in The Battle of the Timberlands and a 6 – 5 record for the season, UAM earned another game in the Corsicana Bowl against Emporia State University. This will be the Weevils first appearance in the postseason in 25 years. (more…)

4 takeaways helped pace the University of Arkansas at Monticello on the road Saturday, Oct. 6, winning at Arkansas Tech University, 34-16. The win halted a three-game skid for the Boll Weevils as they improved to 2-4 on the season, all in the Great American Conference. (more…)
