Students from Monticello Dance Academy competed in our first USA Gymnastics sanctioned event ever a few weeks ago in Pine Bluff! It was the Yankee Doodle Dandy meet hosted by Flip Flop Gymnastics.

The Drew County Martin Luther King Jr. celebration will be Monday, Jan. 21. We are presently forming the DC MLK Community Choir and would like for the choir to be made up of ALUMNI MEMBERS.

Anyone who has ever sung in the DC MLK COMMUNITY CHOIR is invited to participate. However, we need a count. Please contact Clarissa Pace at 870-723-9820, if you will volunteer to participate.

Hope Place, a pregnancy care center formerly located on S. Main St. near the Square, spent their first day, Wednesday in their new facility, the former Rabb building, just south of the courthouse

Hope Place offers a wide variety of services. We plan to do an interview presenting more information about them, in the near future.
