Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge today released the below statement following the Arkansas Legislature’s passage of the Farm Machinery Quality Assurance Act that will provide “lemon law” type protection to consumers in the purchase of new self-propelled farm machinery and equipment which do not conform to the manufacturer’s warranty and attempts to repair the problem fail.    (more…)

Southeast Arkansas Community Action Corporation Governing Board of Directors will meet in an executive board meeting on Monday, March 18, 2019.

The meeting will begin at 8:00 a.m.. and will be held at The SEACAC Complex, located at 1208 North Myrtle St., Warren, AR 71671.

The Southeast Arkansas Political Animals Club is pleased to announce the group’s next meeting. The meeting will take place Friday, March 15th at the Monticello Western Sizzlin. MDA’s Competition dance team attended the Starpower regional competition in Little Rock this weekend (March 1-3). Routines are scored on an adjudicated system by a panel of 3 judges. The placement levels are 5 Star Elite (for the Advanced division only), 5 Stars, 4.75 Stars, 4.5 Stars, 4.25 Stars, and 4 Stars. After scores are given they are then given a placement in their category, as well as an overall in each age and division.

MDA Competition Gymnastics Team members competed at the USAG sanctioned meet, Walk The Plank, in Sheridan this weekend. We had 14 girls compete at different levels.
