Attention Entergy customers, scammers are calling Monticello businesses saying they need to pay a certain dollar amount or they are going to cut their power.

If you get such a call you can call 1-800-ENTERGY to speak with a Entergy customer service representative.

There is a water leak on N Hyatt St/Hwy 425 N. It is affecting multiple customers in the area. We are aware of the leak and are working to get it fixed. There is no estimated time frame on when it will be repaired, but it is currently being worked on.

Funded by the Arkansas Human Development Corporation (AHDC), Arkansas Small Business & Technology Development Center (ASBTDC), Arkansas Business Navigator program, FORGE Community Loan Fund, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and USDA Rural Development, the 2023 Southwest Arkansas Rural Business Development Conference, with a theme of “Breaking Barriers: Engaging Minds, Empowering Success” will bring together approximately 20 private, quasi-state, state, federal, non-profit, and national organizations with a singular focus of equipping existing and aspiring entrepreneurs with the resources to start and grow their businesses.

Monticello Mayhem 12U softball team won the FPPT Memorial Day Classic 12U Open Championship held May 27th in Conway Arkansas.  Mayhem went undefeated in the tournament winning the championship by beating Arkansas Hurricanes 4-3.
