
The City of Monticello Police Department is currently seeking applications for a Full-Time Dispatcher. Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen. Must be able to work swing shift hours, weekends and holidays. On the job training as well as out of town training required. Must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid Arkansas driver’s license.
To apply please come by the Monticello City Hall in person to pick up an application. Monday through Friday from 7:30am – 4:30pm. Deadline to apply will be April 4th, 2025.


















The City of Monticello will be replacing the culvert at the intersection of Highway 35 & COUNTRY CLUB LANE this morning beginning at 9:00 a.m. due to the culverts deteriorating condition.
The City of Monticello is currently applying for a $500,000 Matching Park Grant through the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism. The grant will be used to renovate the basketball and tennis courts at McCloy Park.
As part of an obligation to become eligible for future recreational activity grant funding, the City of Monticello is hosting a Park Clean-Up Day at McCloy Park this Friday, August 23, 2024 from 8:30am – 12:00pm.
