Lots of money spent on the Square recently. I can’t help but think the money could have been better spent elsewhere, such as the new Police Station on the East End of town. When does that contruction start?
The work they did on the square looks horrible. Bring back the stop lights!
Yes why couldn’t they spent the money on lights
I have to say I like the new work done on the square. Though I was a little confused by the new road markings at first. I suppose the money could have been spent on something more needed, unless it was a grant that had to be used specifically for beautification. On a personal note, I prefer the stop signs. It keeps traffic flowing. I hated having to wait for a stoplight at 10:00 at night.
I’m glad the highway department is paying to repaint the square, since they approved the plans with the wrong signage in the first place.
