Woods Fire Closes Selma-Collins Road, Thursday

At 4 pm, Thursday, Drew county OEM and Sheriffs Deputies responded to assist the Arkansas Forestry Commission battling a woods fire between the Selma and Collins communities on the county road between them.
AFC had three fire plows and 2 planes battling the spreading blaze.
It is estimated that approximately 140 acres were burned in the fire.
