City Council to Consider $10 Million, 1/4 Cent Sales Tax for Event Center, Tonight

There will be a special called meeting of the Monticello City Council, tonight at 6 PM, to consider passing on to city voters, a 1/4 cent sales tax issue, designed to build a 3,000 seat event center, which was declined to be put on the ballot, last Monday, by the DrewCounty Quorum Court.
