Back Online, after Being Offline Wednesday

Lost in Space was a TV show in the ’60’s that included such episodes as “The Junkyard of Space” and “The Great Vegetable Rebellion.” ( Google it.)

Lost in Space also described Wednesday, since MLive was off-line.

With that being said, we are posting the results of the capital murder trial that was completed in the Drew County Courthouse, Wednesday evening, with a guilty sentence. The sentencing phase will begin Thursday morning.

Drew Central Robotics’ Maiden Voyage into the Robotics Competition World

dc gearheads alliance memphis On January, 16, 2016 the first year Drew Central 21st CCLC Robotics Team competed in the Collierville, TN Dragon VEX competition and placed 2nd. When the team arrived they were ranked 21 out of 21. During the 37 qualifications rounds, teams play as an “alliance”.

Each alliance consists of two teams randomly chosen and put together to show teamwork and to see how the alliance could work together and make their robots complement one another. Drew Central played 7 qualifying rounds and won each. At the end of the qualification match, DC Gearheads had advanced to 2nd place overall.
