Twelve students from the University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM) College of Forestry, Agriculture and Natural Resources recently participated in the 62nd annual Southern Forestry Schools Conclave competition.
Here are a list of road closings or roads/streets that are/were blocked due to water, power lines, and/or trees down.
American Legion Commander Randy Gavin and Commander Glen Kellebrew presented a check for $200 to Travarus Shead.
The American Legion sponsors one student to attend Boys State and this year Shead is the recipient.
Travarus is in the 11th grade at Drew Central High School. Commanders Gavin and Kellebrew, as well as all members, are proud to wish him all the best.
Eva Arrington will be leading an Education First Tour during Spring Break 2020 (6 days) to Los Angeles/Hollywood.

UAM Football will hold their Spring Game, TONIGHT.
The game starts at 6 pm and will be held at Willis “Convoy” Leslie Cotton Boll Stadium.
All are welcome to attend come out and support.
NEW LOCATION: Miracle League Registration will be this Saturday , April 13th from 10-12 at the big pavilion at the City Park.
There will also be a meeting for all volunteers.
Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Frank Spain announces his campaign for Tenth Judicial Circuit Judge Division 2.
Frank Spain moved to Crossett with his parents, Thomas and Marguerite Earnestine Spain in 1990 when his mother was appointed to the position of Postmaster.
